📰 Breaking: India Celebrates Independence Day, Kite Sales Skyrocket… and So Do Neighbor’s Blood Pressures!

Today, the nation celebrated its 79th Independence Day with pride, tricolour flags, and… arguments over who cut whose kite.
According to unconfirmed sources (aka Uncle Sharma from the terrace), this year’s kite-flying competition resulted in:

3 uncles falling off chairs trying to catch “the last kite”

And one grandmother who tied a kite to her balcony thinking it’s a “free internet antenna.”
Meanwhile, Prime Minister’s speech inspired millions… and also inspired some to start eating samosas before breakfast.
Street vendors reported “record-breaking” samosa sales, with one vendor saying, “It’s the true spirit of freedom – freedom from dieting.”
Police confirmed zero serious incidents, but issued a warning: “Kite-flying is safe, but please stop chasing them into the neighbour’s bathroom.”
